Bruntjen Farms is a 4th generation family farm based in Illiopolis, IL that specializes in the production of corn and soybeans. Our passions lie in operational efficiency, staying up-to-date with the latest technology, and being respectful stewards of the land.
Our Mission
As we continue to expand our operation, we recognize that everything we have belongs to the Lord. Our mission is to manage what God has given us responsibly. In doing so, we glorify God and are able to support and bless our family, our community, and our country.
John S. Bruntjen
John and Brenda are the owners of Bruntjen Farms. John manages and oversees the farming operation, which has been his passion for 50+ years. He received a bachelor's degree in Ag Science from the University of Illinois. Brenda manages the accounting and payroll for Bruntjen Farms.
John B. Bruntjen
John (JB) has been farming along side his father's operation since he graduated from the University of Illinois in 2013 with an agricultural economics degree. He manages records, technologies, labor recruitment and operates equipment. He and his wife Kathryn have been married five years and have 3 children at their home in Mt. Pulaski.
